Our specialist laptop and PC motherboard repair service provides component-level repairs for a wide range of hardware faults.

Rather than automatically replacing an entire motherboard, our engineers can diagnose faults at component level and, where possible, repair the original board. This can provide a more cost-effective alternative to complete motherboard replacement.

Liquid can cause corrosion and electrical faults that become significantly worse if the device is left untreated. Our liquid damage repair service begins with carefully disassembling the device, removing liquid contamination, cleaning corrosion and drying the affected components.

Once the cleaning process is complete, we test the device to establish its condition and identify any further damage.

Many devices can be recovered following liquid damage. If your device requires replacement components or additional component-level repairs, we will contact you to discuss the required work and any additional costs before proceeding.

The sooner a liquid-damaged device is assessed, the better the chance of preventing further damage.

Phone, Tablet & Games Console Repair

We provide component-level motherboard repair for mobile phones, tablets and games consoles, allowing us to investigate and repair many hardware faults that cannot be resolved through standard parts replacement.

Our basic repair charge is £69.99, although additional costs may apply where a repair requires multiple components, additional work or specialist parts.

Some specialist repairs can take longer to complete, particularly where components need to be sourced from overseas. If additional time, components or repair work are required, we will discuss the additional costs with you before proceeding.

Advanced Liquid Damage Repair

Liquid damage can create complex electrical faults that may not appear immediately. Our experienced engineers have many years of experience repairing liquid-damaged electronics and have developed specialist techniques for diagnosing and recovering devices affected by liquid and corrosion.

If your device has suffered liquid damage, avoid repeatedly switching it on and arrange a diagnostic assessment as soon as possible. Continued use can potentially cause further damage to already-affected components.

Diagnostic & Attempted Repair Charge

It is free for our engineers to assess your device, investigate all faults and, where possible, identify the cause of the problem. Once the diagnostic assessment is complete, we will provide you with a quotation for the required repair or alternative solutions.

In some cases, a partial repair or additional diagnostic may be necessary to confirm or isolate a fault within the circuit. If this is required, we will explain what is needed before proceedin.

If our additional diagnostic or partial repair work identifies a fault that we are unable to repair, there would be a charge of £69 for additional diagnostic which includes return postage or the partial repair charge agreed upon before work was carried out. These are non-refundable.

How to Send Your Device to Us

If you are going to send in your device here are some points to follow

  • You will need enclose your contact details and the address to send your item back to when we are finished. We also advise that you include a print out of any relevant emails you have had from us.
  • Make sure you pack your device is in a suitable, rigid box with at least 5″ of padding around the unit.
  • Please include your AC adapter and cable; especially if we are going to be fixing a power or charging related issue. we advise that place the adapter to the side of the Laptop/Mac (not on top), this will prevent potential damage from occuring such as damage to the laptop casing or cracking the screen whilst in the hands of the courier.
  • Select the size of the box according to its content. Under-filled boxes are likely to collapse, overloaded ones may burst.
  • Always use high-quality materials for your package. Consider strength, cushioning, and durability.
  • Choose boxes made of corrugated cardboard, with good quality outer liners.
  • Wrap all items separately.
  • Use strong tape designed for shipping if strapping is not available.
  • When re-using a box remove all old labels including any old hazardous materials indicators to avoid any confusing during processing.
